Greetings to you all,
My name is Tina Foor and I am the owner and artist/seamstress of MunchkinGear.com.

I began sewing as a child with my mom and got serious in my teens because of my extremely odd and picky taste in clothes.
My earliest business venture was at age 13 when I began selling and bartering my crocheted toboggans to local head shops. Later, I continued my bartering by sewing costumes in exchange for dance classes. Towards the end of high school, I had an exciting idea to create elaborate, vegas style costumes for the cruise lines I was going to dance on. That was, until I fell in love and all of a sudden my priorities changed. Ricky and I got married a year later.

Soon after our first daughter Phaidra Jillian was born, so my professional dance career went on the back burner for my new adventure, motherhood.

19 months later, Eilonwy Rose made an early entrance into our blooming family.

Of course I had to have my munchkins dressed as uniquely as I. So I brushed the dust off my sewing machine and had a blast with my miniature models! On April 20th 2004, just before Eilonwy’s third birthday we welcomed our newest addition, Eidela Joy

and our family has come full circle!
Now I am 24, with three great kids, an awesome hubby, two crazy dogs, a lazy cat, and a partridge in a pear tree (ok a crazy cockatiel who likes to serenade me while sitting on my head) and I felt an urge to share my creations. So the entrepreneur in me gave me a kick, or maybe that was Ricky, either way, thus Munchkin Gear was born! My new business is a bit different from my earlier visions of risqué show girl costumes. And although every time I begin a project, it is assured that at some point I will have to stop to wipe a nose, nurse a baby, read a book, change a diaper, help with homework, make a sandwich or pour some juice, I love it! And I am so happy to share this part of my life with you all!
Thanks for visiting my site, please pass it along.
Peace and Love,
Tina and the Munchkins
